Baud rate

The baud rate describes the speed of a parallel or serial communication in bits per second (bps). Both the receiver (RX) and transmitter(TX) have to be set to the same baud rate, or else the receiver will only receive garbage.

  • 4800 bps
  • 9600 bps
  • 19600 bps
  • 38400 bps
  • 57600 bps
  • 115200 bps
