Distance Sensors

There are two main different types of distance sensors. Optical that times light returning to the sensor and sound that time an ultrasonic pulse retuning to the sensor. There are benifits to using either. IR(infra red) or optical is useful for slanted walls etc. Sound sensors are useful for reflective surfaces as the sound will still bounce back unlike light.
