The FPF200o - FPF2007 are a set of load switches manufactured by fairchild semiconductor. These FET switches are tiny at only 2 mm x 1.25 mm. They come in a standard SCP70-5. The switches contain a P-Channel MOSFET. That is controlled by standard TTL Logic levels. These types of switches are a good way to turn on and off large current loads with amicrocontroller.

Features:

  • Operating Voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V
  • Logic Voltage 1.8V to 5.5V
  • Thermal Shutdown Mode
  • Current Limits

Some models feature auto restart timers others will simply operate in constant current mode when the current limit is reached. When a switch enters a fault mode the FLAGB pin will be pulled low to indicate something is wrong.

Part Current Limit [mA] Current Limit Blanking Time [ms] Auto-Restart Time [ms] ON Pin Activity
FPF2000 50 10 80 Active HI
FPF2001 50 10 80 Active LO
FPF2002 50 10 NA Active HI
FPF2003 50 0 NA Active HI
FPF2004 100 10 80 Active HI
FPF2005 100 10 80 Active LO
FPF2006 100 10 NA Active HI
FPF2007 100 0 NA Active HI
