Kelvin (K), a unit of temperature. Note that it is stated as "kelvins", not "degrees K". Conversions with other common temperature measurements are below:

Kelvin and Celsius are the same scale, but offset by 273.15 deg. 0 Celsius being the freezing temperature of water, 0 kelvin being absolute zero.

So one unit of degrees Celsius is also one kelvin unit.

Celsius:

  • [°C] = [K] − 273.15
  • [K] = [°C] + 273.15

Fahrenheit:

  • [°F] = [K] × 9⁄5 − 459.67
  • [K] = ([°F] + 459.67) × 5⁄9
