A "Stamp" is a small, typically self-contained, microcontroller board.
The name "Stamp" was originally used by Parallax, Inc. to refer to their BASIC Stamp product. But it has been used more recently to refer to other products from other companies, and running software other than the original BASIC. For example, the Arduino Stamp.
